Color is one of the most fundamental and powerful tools at our disposal for commanding the attention of our photos’ viewers, and it does not always get the sort of attention in post-processing that it deserves. This fantastic video tutorial will show you how to sculpt the color in a photo much like how you would the light in order to create stronger, more compelling landscape images.
Coming to you from Greg Benz Photography, this excellent video tutorial will show you how to use Photoshop to create a more compelling landscape image by simplifying the colors and bringing them into better harmony with each other. We think about how to shape the light in a photo all the time, but applying the same sorts of ideas to the colors in a photo can yield even more eye-catching results. The key when working with color is to always err on the side of taking it easy, as overdoing things like saturation can create gaudy or overly artificial results. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Benz.
